The subject of a sentence is what the sentence is about (generally in the form of a noun or noun phrase).

The predicate of a sentence is some statement or thought about the subject. Generally starts with a verb.

Given my level of desire for posting rights in the restricted forums among other things, this question is not worth taking the time to answer.

Communism is generally not considered positive. Or, "This sentence is quite unavoidably useless."

My opinion (which would seem to be correct by definition), is that, for some definitions of the obscenely vague term "French", it would be exactlyas "French" as it is today. Wanker.
